Convection heaters have metal fins that turn cold air near the floor into warm air that rises.
Convection baseboard heaters are cheaper and available in a wider range of sizes and power ranges than hydronic heaters. Convection electric baseboard heater plug-in units are also more readily available. Hydronic baseboard heaters are more energy efficient.
