Do you have things piled high in your closet? Can you even close your closet door without any effort? If the answer is yes, here are a few organizing tips that will help you to get your closet more organized.
The first tip is to store your out-of-season items in another location and as the seasons change switch out items. Another tip is to store outdoor accessories, such as hats and scarves, by the door or another easy-to-reach location. You also will want to store luggage in another location than your closet. You could store your luggage in a basement, attic, or even under your bed. Another tip is to get rid of all the excess hangers and try switching to a less bulky hanger. This will also free up a lot of space in your closet, not to mention prevent you from knocking down the extra hangers every time you go into your closet. The last tip is to get rid of any items that you never wear or use. Think about the last time that you actually wore or used an item. If it’s been a while, like a year, get rid of the item.
These are just a few tips to help you to get your closet more organized, and hopefully, make closing that door a little easier.
