When you take a shower and it has no pressure whatsoever, you are probably pretty disappointed, right? It just makes the whole process that much more tedious, and you might end up having soap somewhere on your body that you just couldn’t get off. While you might be stuck in a home with low pressure, this doesn’t mean that there isn’t a possible solution for you. The first thing you need to do is find out where the problem lies.
If the pressure is low everywhere in your home, you can eliminate the shower itself as an issue. If so, you should check for any valves that might just be partially open. If you have hard water, there could also be mineral buildup in your pipes hindering water-flow.
If you truly are stumped after checking everything in your home, you might want to ask the neighbors how their pressure is. If they have the same problem, you might need a pressure regulator to get your home the boost it needs.
